Welcome to Jeremiah’s Place NM

Jeremiah’s Place serves adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities by providing year round, innovative programs.

Jeremiah’s Place’s motto is For Hope and a Future, a biblical passage from Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

As a Christ centered, non-denominational organization, we support and encourage adults with special needs to ensure their rightful place as valued and functional members of the community.  Our goals are:

  1. To help special needs adults gain independence by encouraging them and building their confidence.
  2. To offer a variety of classes to special needs adults to promote their growth and increase their independence.
  3. To provide opportunities for students working towards the fields in Teaching Special Ed, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist and Physical Therapist to work directly with special needs adults outside of the school setting.
  4. To fill an existing gap within our community, by providing life-long, hands-on learning experiences for special needs adults in a loving and compassionate environment.
  5. To be available for spiritual, emotional and physical support for caregivers and adults with special needs.
